It all started with a book called The Northern Forest. This book sparked an intrigue in the dynamic relationship that exists between people and their place and, ultimately, led to a career in landscape architecture and planning. I enjoy discovering what makes up the fabric of a place and working to creating spaces or finding solutions that capture that fabric into a design or plan. I feel fortunate to work for a firm that believes in listening and creating spaces that respond to the community and regional environment.

When not at work, I am often outside — running or hiking in the canyons and foothills or working in the veggie garden. If inside, I am most likely in a pilates studio, reading or working on a new art / fiber arts project.
